What is Odin's Realm?

Odin's Realm is a custom battle.net server, allowing you to play all of your favorite battle.net games (Diablo 1 & 2, Warcraft 2 & 3, Starcraft) online for free.

Who runs it?

The battle.net server was started by Odin, who still manages the main web/game server, and has since picked up several in-game admins including Dyspho & Final, as seen on the forums.

When did it start?

We first went online on 7/31/09 and quickly started growing in players as the only server running the Valhalla mod for Diablo 2. After over a year, the Valhalla realm gradually lost players in comparison to the custom Odins Realm mod, and Valhalla was dropped in favor of the more stable realm.

Why a game server?

Games like Diablo & Warcraft are fantastic, but only with a good community & reliable server to go with them. The battle.net server was created to provide a reliable, fun server & community for players without the issues associated with battle.net, as well as to provide people a chance to play the excellent Valhalla mod in a true multiplayer environment. Also, it's fun!
